Healthsite makes the daunting task of constructing your new website as easy as possible. Our experts guide you through the process every step of the way. We have open communication throughout the whole process and make it as seamless as possible. We use our considerable experience in the industry to guide the creation of the website, but ultimately we make websites to your specifications.
Initial Consult
We will make contact and determine your requirements for your new website.
First draft
We then develop a draft home page for your consideration.
Complete site draft
Once the draft is approved, we will build the remaining pages and deliver you a complete site draft.
Sign off and go live!
When you are happy with your full draft we can go live!

How long does it take to get the website live?
Websites take a varied amount of time to build. On average it takes around 6-8 weeks from beginning to end.
To speed this up for your clinic, we recommend the following.
- Have one person be the designated project manager. This helps with speeding up final decisions about the website.
- Think about your content early and get the needed details from your doctors or clinic pamphlets ready. Even if it’s not the final copy, having these details helps with the design.
- Break down the content you need by pages and make a small checklist of what you need to say for each page.
Will I be able to make changes to the website once it's live?
Yes, we use an easy content management system (CMS) so if you’re self-hosting, you won’t have to touch too much code to make changes.
If you’re too busy or are on one of our Hosting Packages, you don’t have to worry. We include at least 1 hour of changes on our Standard and Premium hosting packages a month.
This is plenty of time for most clinic updates such as adding newsletters, updating doctors or contact details.
If you require larger changes we can also help with that, just send us through an email, and we will give you an upfront quote so you know how long it will take.
What is expected of me?
PROCESS:
We are a ‘Live Website Building Agency’ which means we do not waste time in a lengthy ‘offline’ design process. We start with a live site for you to review:
Initial Draft – Your approval required – this ensures the basic framework, colour and theme is as what you expect. Further content is requested from you at this point.
1st Review – Your approval required – ensures we are on track with what has been provided to date – opportunity to make changes.
2nd Review – Approve any changes made from 1st Review and final opportunity to make any changes too content.
SUBSEQUENT/FINAL Reviews – An overview of the finished product and sign off from you.
GO LIVE! – Your website is ready to go!
3 STAGES APPROACH:
Establishment – Our team will establish the staging environment where we will be building your website within. A ‘live’ link will be provided to you so that at any time you can see the progresss of your site. The establishment is all us and once ready the link made available.
Build and Iteration – Once the staging link has been provided to you, we will call out the major milestones that have been met requiring your specific input. However because you will have link, you will be able to review and effectively provide iterative comments as the build continues.
Launch* – Once agreed to, We will launch your new site into the Public Internet. Activities to support this may include the transfer of your domain into our environment and any domain re-directs that are required. We will lead this process and launch your site during a change window agree to with you.
*Depending on the iteration of the build it may be appropriat to launch your site beofre fully finished (a common approach) with the build continuing in parallel, Steps 2 & 3 may be cyclical until the full version 1 of your new site has been completed.
